Why create a shrine to Hayate, you ask? It wasn't because of Project: Shirayuki, because I had this site before that ^_^ I was first given 2 videos of Pretear from my friend Maria who said I'd enjoy it. At first, the story seemed to be so cliché and too much like a Sailor Moon thing. I took one look at Hayate and was like, "Oh, great, Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon re-make ahead!" After the first episode, I was quite surprised to see I was wrong about Hayate. He was nothing like a Tuxedo Mask, being cold towards Himeno and treating her poorly than thought. Seeing this, I became more interested in the series, thus watching the remaining episodes quickly. By the end of the second video I felt myself caring for Hayate more than any other character, hearing of his sad and lonely past. After I had finished the series, I realized I had a huge obsession with Hayate-drawing him and Himeno on every scrap paper I had in school and writing fanfiction for it. When I searched online for any sites for him, I found none, thus I decided to create a shrine for him 'cause he damn well deserves it! XD
