One day when my friend Anna was over my house watching the last episode of Pretear with me, we came upon a discussion about the relationship between Himeno and Hayate. We discussed their ages as well. I started the conversation, asking Anna, "Anna, just a question, but what do you think? Now, if the event of Takako turning into Saihi happened 16 years before the story started, that must mean that Hayate is at least 16 years old, right? But Hayate looked like he was already 16 then too. So 16 + 16 =32, so the youngest Hayate can be is 32 right?!" Anna thought that this was funny, so she accused Hayate of being a pedophile (aka - a child molester). Do you agree with this?

I personally, do not agree, for a few people at Yue's Message Board (which is now, sadly, closed) helped me find a reason to back up my side of the issue. They said they believe in the "age-prevention" theory, which means that in Leafenia (the Liefe Knight's world) time has no meaning, therefore, they are the same age they were at 16 years ago, which would make Himeno and Hayate the same age in the real world.

So I say "HA!" to you and your "pedophile" business Anna! Bwahahahahaha! Us fans for Hayate x Himeno still have reasons to believe!
